About: This three legged Jacobean styled chair comes from famed furniture manufacturer of his day, RJ Horner from New York City c.1890. Horner’s pieces incorporated old world craftsmanship, strong woods and exceptional carved surfaces. As it was then, today Horner pieces are prized by collectors.

This chair features white oak construction, pierced twist posts and stretchers with a Jacobean / Gothic motif carved back shield form.

Why We Love It: This chair is obviously FULL of character, surely to be a conversation piece. The craftsmanship and skill that went into producing something like this are rarely found today.

Condition: An all over patina with some staining to the seat. The seat was likely repaired at some point. One button is missing to the back as shown.

Dims: 24” W x 24” D x 36” H, 16.5” seat height.
