About: Crafted of sheet metal and wire c. 1920 - 1940, this period arrow form weather vane spent its life atop an old farmhouse in Virginia and was used as target practice once upon a time.

Previously from the folk art collection of Franklin and Esther Schmidt

Why We Love It: Excellent patina, form, color and of course, the fact that someone thought to use it as target practice. We can imagine the arrow spinning round n round.

Condition: Excellent as shown. Patina, rust and bullet holes.
