Applied rising sun motif in crisp red and white cotton when combined with one another create a bold and graphic quality to the piece. Presumably a fundraising quilt carried out across several years. Inscriptions read “Bible Study” along with scriptures, attendees names and locations across Pennsylvania. Signatures dated 1898 through 1901. A very special piece, one worth displaying for the consummate collector.
