Machine Shop Cannon
About: This excellent machined cannon was fabricated in the later half of the 20th Century as an acknowledgement of skill in turning and milling, likely by a machine shop student or general machinist. Made to resemble a 24 pound naval cannon from the USS Constitution and turned in stainless steel. Does not fire though the bore hole extends the length of the piece.
Why We Love It: It’s just a cool little thing, perfect for a desk top. Nicely detailed turning lines and solid presence.
Condition: Some light oxidation as shown. No repairs or dents.
Dims: 7” L x 3.5” W x 4” H. Weighs about 6 lbs.
Location: Sperryville, VA
