Long Handled Maple Tamper
About: This solid maple tamper hails from Pennsylvania and was likely used in the kitchen, perhaps to tenderize meats or other tough foods prior to cooking. The base is serrated with fine little points. We’ve even seen them referred to use in sauerkraut production.
Why We Love It: We love it as a repurposed doorstop. No need to bend over! And keep it by the front door for self defense.
