Fanciful Turned Floor Lamp

$495.00

About: This mixed woods floor lamp was lathe turned at the mid part of the 20th Century. The skill and planning required to build such an object speaks to the unknown maker’s skill and attention to detail. The wood species look to be maple and mahogany, together for a visually stunning and likely unique piece.

Found in Texas, the finish shows mild orange peeling denoting age. Lamp has been rewired and includes new burlap shade.

Why We Love It: This lamp occurs to us in a carnival-like vibe. The starburst base is showy and the orange peel finish, likely the result of sitting in an attic for years, gives the piece honesty.

Condition: Some nicks and dings to base as expected.

Dims: 63” Overall Height x 14” Diameter at the base.

Location: Sperryville
