Why We Love It: The scale of depth in this particular frame is eye catching. For years we’ve had this displayed just as you see it, without subject or canvas. But, throw an antique mirror or tasteful period pastoral scene inside and it would look smashing.
Condition: Cracks abound, especially at the corners, highlighting the finger jointed construction…. but this is why we like it. One chip to the upper right front edge.
Dims: 17” x 19.25” x 3.75” Deep. Rabbet 10.5” x 12.75”, Currently setup for vertical hanging as shown with early wrought hook.
