End-o-Day Sewer Tile Tree Form

$125.00

About: This is a primitive tree-form vase made of leftover sewer tile / sewer pipe stoneware clay dating to the late 19th or early 20th Century. Factory workers would take the leftover clay and make interesting, naive, outsider art-like pieces that are generally heavy and often without glaze.

Why We Love It: So much character in such a compact form! It’s right at home in primitive decor or traveled collection. I could hold flowers or pens & pencils, you decide.

Condition: Excellent orgiinal condition free of repairs. There looks to be one chip to the inside rim as shown but that could also be a result of the production / firing process.

Dims: 8” H x 4” Diameter

Location: Sperryville, VA
